Kanakakunnu Palace

Kanakakunnu Palace, located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a stunning example of colonial-era architecture. Constructed in the 19th century by Sri Moolam Thirunal, the former king of Travancore, this palace is renowned for its traditional Kerala-style exterior, exquisite crystal chandeliers, and opulent royal furniture.

Visitors are welcome to explore the palace free of charge, with opening hours from 10 AM to 5 PM every day except Mondays.

The palace is located on a hillock and hosts many cultural events, seminars, and programs.
