Kulamavu Dam viewpoint is for those who wish to enjoy a cool breeze when resting amidst the greenery, overlooking a dam and nearby valleys. This hilltop viewpoint lies on the way between the Uppukunnu viewpoint and the Paramada. This viewpoint gives a great view of the hills and Kulamaav Dam. It is located just 50 meters away from the main road. Other than scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere, this dam is a technological achievement of Kerala as an Underground Power Station. It is also one of three dams associated with the Idukki hydroelectric power project. Visitors are allowed to visit this dam, but photography here is prohibited.
