The Shakthan Thampuran Palace, also known as Vadakkekara Palace, is a historic building located in Thrissur, Kerala, India. Constructed in 1795 by Ramavarma Thampuran of the former Princely State of Cochin, it now serves as an archaeological museum. The palace showcases a unique blend of Kerala and Dutch architectural styles, featuring a two-story western-style building along with a traditional Kerala-style Nālukettu. The palace includes a museum featuring galleries that display the progression of ancient writings, such as a bronze gallery, sculpture gallery, and epigraphy gallery.
