Palchuram Waterfalls

Palchuram Waterfalls is a 300-foot waterfall situated in Wayanad, Kerala, India, on the border of the Wayanad and Kannur districts. This four-step waterfall is renowned as one of the main attractions in Wayanad and a popular destination near Mysore.

To reach the falls, you can begin at Boys Town, located approximately 12 km from Mananthavady. The route to Palchuram descends along a precarious ghat road bordered by dense tea plantations. Access to the forest requires permission, and the muddy trail leading into the woods terminates at an old bridge. A brief off-road drive followed by a 1 km trek through the jungle will bring you to the falls. The forest path remains dim even during sunny days, with bison, elephants, and leeches inhabiting the area.

There is no cost to visit the falls, and there is no requirement to purchase tickets in advance.
