Malik Deenar Mosque

The Malik Ibn Denaar Mosque, also known as Juma Masjid, is situated in the village of Thalangara in Kasaragod, Kerala. It is recognized as one of the oldest mosques in Kerala, dating back to 642 AD during the reign of Cheraman Perumal of the Western Ganga dynasty. The mosque is renowned for its traditional Kerala architecture, with sloped roofs and intricate Arabic carvings on wooden beams and pillars. Additionally, the mosque boasts marble flooring imported from Mecca by Dinar, as well as some original doors from the mosque.
