The falls are located in close proximity to the Silent Valley National Park on the northeastern border of the Malappuram district. The Keralamkundu Waterfalls is a prominent waterfall in Malappuram, Kerala, situated at an elevation of 1,500 feet above sea level on the Kumpan mountain at Karuvarakkund.
In 2016, Keralamkundu Waterfalls was added to the national adventure tourism map.
The waterfalls are open daily from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, with an entry fee of INR 10 per person. Karuvarakundu is the nearest village to the falls, accessible by road from the towns of Manjeri, Perinthalmanna, and Nilambur. The closest airport is Kozhikode, approximately 61 kilometers away, while the nearest railway stations are Tuvvur and Melattur.
