The Vadakkanthara Temple in Palakkad is a historic Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Karnaki. It’s known for being the only temple in Kerala to feature a full idol of Karnaki, a legendary figure from the Tamil epic Silappadhikaram. The temple itself is beautiful, built in the traditional Kerala architectural style. Beyond its main deity, the temple also has shrines for other Hindu gods and goddesses.
