St Angelo’s Fort

St. Angelo’s Fort, also known as Kannur Fort or Kannur Kotta, is a triangular fort located in Kannur, Kerala, India. It was constructed in 1505 by Don Francesco de Almeida, the first Portuguese Viceroy to India. Positioned 3 kilometers away from Kannur, the fort overlooks the Arabian Sea.

Operating hours for the fort are from 8 AM to 5:30 PM every day. While there is no entry fee, visitors are required to pay a parking fee of INR 20 and a toll of INR 20 for using Cantonment Road. The fort offers a pleasant environment with magnificent views of the sea, making it an ideal place to spend time.
