Perumthenaruvi Waterfalls

Perumthenaruvi stands for ‘River of Honey’. This name may have originated from the existence of too many beehives in the locality, which is a peculiar feature of this place. It is located near the Pampa River in Pathanamthitta. This waterfall has been a popular tourist destination for many decades. Known for both amazing scenery as well as dangerousness, this waterfall is truly mesmerizing. The gushing sounds of this waterfall are a little bit frightening but the ambiance makes you cool. This waterfall is part of a power plant project, and hence the water’s destination is a small dam.
