Kaviyoor Mahadevar Temple is also called Thrikkaviyoor Mahadeva Temple. This beautiful temple is in Kaviyoor near Thiruvalla. There are 2 main deities here – Lord Siva and Parvathy. Still, the Lord Hanuman also is worshipped here with significance.
The location, architectural style, and carvings/ sculptures are the main attractions of this place. The temple is on a hilltop which means there are a lot of steps [21 steps] you need to traverse to reach the Gopuram. This offers an opportunity to enjoy scenic valley views. Even though the temple has a therapeutic ambiance and divinity, this temple is also known for the beauty of the temple. It is regarded as one of the oldest, most beautiful temples in Kerala. This is because of the beautifully carved engravings and sculptures all round the temple.
