The Kerala Folklore Museum is a one of a kind architectural museum situated in Thevara, Kochi. This is Kerala’s only architectural museum currently. This museum intends to teach the new generation about the art and stands out as a hub of academic and visual knowledge for art lovers, researchers, and travelers alike.
The museum exhibits pretty stunning artifacts, including different kinds of sculptures made from stone, wood, and bronze, Ancient terracotta, objects from the stone Age, Jewelry, Paintings, Oil lamps, Musical instruments, and much more.
Apart from these exhibits, this museum is well known for the unique, 18th century wood-carved ceiling depicting Hindu gods and colorful Ramayana and Mahabharata scenes in the top floor Theatre.
