Pothundi Dam is an irrigation dam made of earth located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India. Constructed in the 19th century, it is situated in the foothills of the Nelliyampathy Hills, spanning across the Meenichiladipuzha and Padipuzha rivers, approximately 35 km from Palakkad. The dam serves as a source of drinking water for the Nemmara, Ayalur, and Melarcode panchayats. The dam features a beautifully landscaped garden at its entrance, complete with rides, trees, and plants. The crest of the dam offers a stunning view. Admission is 20 INR for adults and 10 INR for children.
