Pazhayangadi Mosque

The Pazhayangadi Mosque in Malappuram, Kerala is a historic Muslim pilgrimage site that is over 500 years old. It is one of the most respected mosques in Kerala and is situated 18 kilometers east of Manjeri, on the route to Malappuram. The mosque is closely linked to the Muslim saint from Persia, Kondotty Thangal.

The mosque, constructed in white marble in the traditional Mughal architectural style, boasts a large white dome that contrasts beautifully with the green hills. Adorned with intricate filigree work, it is a prominent tourist destination in Kondotti. The mosque sees a large number of devotees during the week-long Valiya Nercha festival, held annually in February or March.
