Vellari Mala

Vellari Mala, located in Kerala, India, is a mountain range that forms part of the Western Ghats’ Camp’s hump mountains. It is renowned as one of the most challenging treks in the state. Standing at an elevation of 2,240 meters above sea level, Vellari Mala proudly holds the title of being the highest hill range in the Calicut district.

The allure of Vellari Mala lies in its magnificent waterfalls and lush green landscape. To embark on this adventure, one can opt to take a jeep from Muthappanpuzha, which will transport them to the base of Vellari Mala. From there, visitors are required to trek a distance of 9 kilometers, navigating through dense forests and rugged terrain.
