Paniyeli Poru

Paniyeli Poru is for those who wants to spend sightseeing a river beautifully flowing over the black rocks, to be general, its for nature lovers. This place is more good to visit during the time just before summer when there will be less water flowing over the rocks. The rocks heads would be visible then, and visitors can walk over those rocks. The slowly flowing little bit of water touches the feet, thus producing a joyous feel.

But the place turns a little dangerous during the heavy monsoon season. The water will be flowing in high flowing making it less safe to visit. However, there are plenty of sceneries rather than this. Natural waterfall and the small rivulets are some of them. One need to take approximate 1.5km light trek to reach this waterfall.

Situated in the Malayattoor forest tract, it is 20km away from Perumbavoor.
