The Mini Ooty

Located in the Malappuram district of Kerala, India, about 50 km from Kozhikode, Mini Ooty, also known as Arimbra Hills, is a picturesque tourist destination. Standing at 445 meters high and 1,050 ft above sea level, these hills are often referred to as “Mini Ooty” due to their resemblance to the famous hill station in India.

The hills are a well-known tourist destination for their picturesque landscape, hiking trails, and stunning views. Popular hiking spots in the area include Thiruvonamala, Poolappees, Muchikundu, Cheruppadi Mala, Kunnumpuram, and Kakkadseemly, all of which offer panoramic views of the Kozhikode International Airport runway. The hills are also home to the Mini Ooty Glass Bridge. Access to the hills is available from Aravankara near Pookkottoor along the Malappuram-Calicut stretch of NH 966.
