Chethalayam Waterfalls is a seasonal waterfall located in Chethalayam, Wayanad, Kerala, India. This hidden gem is situated approximately 45 kilometers from Wayanad bus station and 37 kilometers from Kalpetta. The waterfall is open from 6 AM to 5 PM and is ideal to visit during the post-monsoon season.
The Chethalayam Waterfalls are about 170 feet tall and hidden deep in a lush green forest. To get to the falls, you have to hike 4 kilometers through a field with flowers and butterflies. You can’t see the waterfall until you get very close because bushes hide it.
