Pazhavangadi Ganapathy Temple is one of the oldest temples in Kerala. It has unique architecture and is dark ash in color. The main deity of this temple is Lord Ganesha [Sri Mahaganapathy]. Therefore the major festivals here are Vinayaka Chathurthi (Ganesh Jayanthi), Virad Chathurthi, and Sankashti Chathurthi.
To enter this temple, one has to be in traditional attire. For men, it is a mundu [dhoti] and no upper body clothing. For women, it has to be saree/ set mundu. This temple is located near East Fort. It is 0.5km away from Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station and the central bus station.
