Mamburam

Mamburam is a Muslim pilgrimage center located in Malappuram, Kerala, India. It is a shrine dedicated to the tombs of some of Kerala’s prominent Thangals, who were Arabs from Yemen that migrated to Kerala. Situated 26 km east of Tirur on the Malabar Coast, the shrine is accessible by road.

Mamburam is renowned for its local festival celebrated during the month of Muharram. Other notable attractions in Mamburam include the District Heritage Museum, Karumbil viewpoint, and Thooval Theeram Park.
